ČStS sdílí informaci o nově vypsané pozici na Univerzitě Helsinky: The University of Helsinki has opened calls to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Doctoral Researcher to work in the research group of Professor Klaus Nordhausen in the Academy of Finland-funded project “Signal recovery in noisy spatial data”. The Postdoctoral Researcher position is for a fixed term of 3 years, starting on January 1st, 2025, or later as agreed. The work of the Postdoctoral Researcher will focus on developing dimension reduction methods for multivariate spatial data which might be also of functional nature, especially in a blind source separation framework. The successful applicant should have a doctoral degree in statistics, mathematics, machine learning, or other relevant field, and experience in developing and applying statistical methods in computationally challenging problems.
