ROBUST conference is the most significant meeting of statisticians organized by the Czech Statistical Society. The conference was organised in 1980 for the first time. Since then, it is organised every second year as a summer or winter school. Initially, it was organised by the Union of Czech and Slovak Mathematicians and Physicists, later by the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists<\/a> with assistance of the Czech Statistical Society.<\/p>
